Joining PPC Kahuna

I got an email in my inbox just the other day.  It was from Mark Ling and he was writing to tell me about a new PPC membership course called PPC Kahuna.  Now, normally, I would toss these sorts of email before opening them, but Mark is the creator of Traffic Travis which I am a big fan of.  So I read the pitch, and it sounded really interesting.  Especially since PPC Kahuna was developed by Jason Katzenback, who I read all the time as a subscriber to JohnCow.com.  I always learn something new from his blog posts and I’ve actually made some money from some of his advice by implementing some of his suggestions on my sites.

I’ve always wanted to get into pay per click marketing but I never really had much success with it.  Hearing the stories of people who makes thousands of dollars a day on Google Adwords, makes it seem like anyone can do it.  Yet everytime I have tried myself so far, I would fail miserably.  I personally have no problem creating my own websites, but the process of getting a good quality score is still a mystery to me.  I can never figure out why Google Adwords never sends me the amount of traffic I see everyone else getting.  I really only have a limited idea of how to perform keyword research. Usually, I just type in some stuff into the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and just use that.   I also haven’t figured out what bidding strategies to use.  I guess my biggest fear with this stuff is losing money, so that’s something I really need to get a handle on.

That’s what made the pitch for PPC Kahuna sound so interesting to me.  By joining the site, I should be getting the tools and coaching I would need to setup some profitable PPC Campaigns.  Plus I would be learning from someone who has done it before, and is hopefully willing to share his exact process for doing so.

I am also one of those types of people who has a hard time keeping my focus.  I am always jumping around and trying out new things.  That’s why the “14 Day Success Plan” on the PPC Kahuna sales page really caught my attention.  I really like the idea of being able to watch Jason as he goes through the entire process of setting up his campaign, and since it looks like it will be broken down into concrete steps, I am feeling I will be able to follow along in a disciplined way.  At least that’s the plan!  $67 for a monthly membership definitely isn’t cheap, so I will be using that as a motivating factor as well to keep me on track.

This is also why I also started this blog – as a way to keep track of my experiences with my PPC Kahuna membership.  Hopefully this can also act as a good review of PPC Kahuna for anyone reading as well.  By jotting down what I have done, I hope to be able to replicate my success and start making some real money.

Wish me luck!
